Our children are three and seven and they both enjoy playing toontown with their mom, dad, and on-line friends. The chat mode only allows pre approved game related conversation between regular members. If your child or you have friends anywhere in the world that play you can get a "secret" password to give them in person or by phone. Once they enter the password your and or your child can then chat privately with them and say almost anything (swear words will not transmit). There is along list of forbidden words that will not get sent if you type them. This system is monitored and moderated. Offenders are kicked out and can not re-apply if they become offensive in any way.
